As we bid Hilda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Hilda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Devon White and Nellie Russell White; her child-in-law Coval Jack Branch, Sr.; her children, Coval Jack Branch, Jr. and Renita Gail Branch; and her sister Melinda White Bullock.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Susie Turbeville Branch of Chadbourn; her grandchildren, Jack Landis Branch (Valerie) of Oak Island, Courtney Lynn Branch-Hajji (Zine) of Chadbourn and Whitney Ashton Branch of Evergreen; and her great grandchild Jack Henrik Miner of Evergreen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
