He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Stephens Grainger (Jimmy) of Evergreen and Penny Stephens Reynolds (Chris) of Evergreen; his siblings-in-law, Terry Wilkerson of Seaford, Delaware, Helen of Lumberton and Frieda Stephens of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Nicole Woodard, James Hudson, Christopher Reynolds, Arter "Little Junior" Sullivan, Justin Sullivan, Jackie Sullivan and Liam Grainger; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Woodard, Justin Sullivan Jr., Adalyn Hunt, Harper Sullivan, Cole Hudson and Lucas Sullivan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Cemetery (400 W 24th St, Lumberton, NC 28358).
