He is survived by: his children, Angel "Miche'la" Britt of Vanceboro and Brenda Elizabeth Chavis of Fairmont; his brother Richard Britt of Cerro Gordo; his half-sister Angie Buffkin of Tabor City; and his grandchildren, Rylee Oxendine of Jeleel, Timmons, Eli Oxendine, Princeton Timmons, Layken Holtzclaw, Adalynn Piurkoski and Makayleigh Piurkoski.
