He is survived by: his children, Mitchell Ballance (Gwen) of Fairfield, Royce "Buddy" Ballance of Fairfield and Darlene B. Carawan (Ted) of Belhaven; his grandchildren, Shelley Hodges (Jake), Daniel Carawan (Hayley), Madison Ballance (Mallory), Georgia B. Carawan (Dillon), Alaina Binkley (Daniel), Haley Ballance and Chelsea Ballance; his great grandchildren, Rex Hodges, Holly Hodges, Desiree Binkley, Alyssa Binkley, Baylor Ballance, Cora Ballance, Reece Carawan and Wade Carawan; and his sister Joyce B. Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
