It is with sadness that the passing of Brenda Hunt Collins of Fairmont, North Carolina is shared. Brenda, born on November 9, 1951, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Hunt Sr. and Hattie Mae Lewis Hunt; and her siblings, Troy Hunt, Roy Hunt, Clayton Hunt, Sherwood Hunt Jr., Retha Williams and Ellen Ivey.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Lowery (Hezzie) of Maxton, Carolyn Collins of Fairmont and Marty L. Collins (Ashley) of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Justin Ray Manning, Justina Manning, Nicholas Lowery and Emily Lowery; her great grandchildren, Zo Lani Mona Manning and Isaiah Jones Jr.; and her sister Clemetine Hunt of Fairmont. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lord's House (1301 Brayboy Rd, Rowland, NC 28383). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Fair Point Church Cemetery (1862 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340).
