She was predeceased by: her parents, Hudler Hunt and Naomi Brooks Hunt; her husband Carson Oxendine; her sons, Henry "Bunker" Oxendine and Darnell "Chubby" Oxendine; and her siblings, George Hunt, Geneva Clark, Myrtle Chavis and Betty Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Oxendine (Mari) of Conway, Ray Carson Oxendine (Carolyn) of Fairmont, Susan Locklear (Rudolph) of Rowland, Sue Sanderson (Michael) of Fairmont and Betty Locklear (Glenn) of Lumberton; her niece Joann Hunt; her nephews, Jimmy and Jerry Hunt; and her cousins, Ancil Jacobs and Treva Jones. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
