She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Hunt and Kittie Bell Hunt; her husband James Aaron Hunt, Jr.; her children, Jerri Hunt and Ronald Hunt; her stepdaughter Gala Ann Hunt Lowry; and her sisters, Varener Hunt Lowry and Vivian Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Gracie Lee Hunt Strickland (Charles), Mary Lee Hunt Hammonds (Eddie) and Terry Hunt (Linda); her stepsons, Larry Hunt (Jackie) and Cary Hunt; and her granddaughter Sinador Hunt (Ray Hodge). She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren fifteen great-great-grandchildren and her caregiver.
