He is survived by : his wife Alice Faye Strickland; his children, Deana Strickland of Fairmont, NC and Jason Strickland (Sarah) of Lumberton, NC; his stepdaughter Rita Faye Suarez (Frankie) of Lumberton, NC; his brothers, Braxton Strickland (Carolyn) of Rowland, NC, Ricky Strickland of Galt, CA and Hal Strickland (Rose) of Fairmont, NC; his grandchildren, Jared (Jacinda), Ashlon (Chad), Harrison, Melissa and Allen Blake; and his great grandchild Ryleigh Shea Demery.
