He is survived by: his children, Gary Harston Ivey and Kimberly Ivey Hunt of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Morgan Cheyenne Hunt of Fairmont and Braylon Moses Ivey of Lumberton; his brothers, Richard Ree Sampson, Bobby C. Sampson and Jimmie D. Sampson; and his foster son Jimmy Hammonds. He is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services, Inc. (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Fair Point Church Cemetery (1862 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340).
