He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Smith and Mary Inman Smith. He is survived by: his wife Janice Martin Smith; his children, David Smith, Jr. (LeAnne) of Fairmont, Robbie Smith (Cheryl) of Fairmont and Janna Smith Osman (Joey) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Emily Smith Jackson (Jamie), Adam Smith (Elizabeth), Kaitlyn Smith Kriner (Adam), Will Osman (Cam) and Drew Osman; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Presley Jackson, Owen and Adalynn Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
