JoAnn Murphy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 83, JoAnn Murphy of Fairmont, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid JoAnn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For JoAnn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Murphy; and her parents, William Ernul and Ruth Cumbo Ernul. She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Henshaw; and her sister Helen Jarvis.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Chapel in Greenleaf Memorial Park.
