She was predeceased by : her parents, Gurney Barnes and Macie Hunt Barnes; her former life partner Carlton Pridgen; and her niece Gwen Johnson. She is survived by : her husband Robert McLamb; her siblings, Allen Barnes (Lori Ann) of Fairmont, NC, Tommy Barnes of Charlotte, NC and Betty Barnes Johnson of Fayetteville, NC; her children, Nicholas Chavis of Fairmont, NC, Courtney Scott of Fairmont, NC and Sharon Hunt of Fairmont, NC; and her friends, JC, Annie Ruth Chavis, Linnie Jacobs, Calvin and Vera Bryant. She is also survived by three nephews, three nieces, a great nephew and a great niece.
