It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Faye Watson of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, S. J. Jones and Essie Lee Jones; and her siblings, Nora, Essie, Linwood, Johnny and Luke.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Watson (Gail) of Rowland, NC, Anthony Watson (Robin) of Fountain, CO. and Savannah (Jamaine) of Blythewood, SC; her siblings, Margie Jackson (Staley) of Lumberton, NC, Brenda Wallace of High Point, NC, Al Jones of Raleigh, NC and Curtis Jones (Kathleen) of Orrum, NC.; her grandsons, AJ Watson of Fountain, CO, Dante Watson, Cameron and Emmanuel Mack of Blythewood, SC.; her niece Jessica Jones of Raleigh, NC; her sisters-in-law, Tamalyn Jones of Columbia, SC, Angela Jones of Charlotte, NC and Joan Jones of Dillion, SC; her extended family, Betty Williams and Dorothy Jameson; her sisters, Dorothy Jameson and Betty Williams; her stepdaughter Renea Inman (Ike) of Charlotte, NC; her buddies Claudell Reddix; her nephew Claudell Reddix; her neighbors, Andrew Shorty Grice, Charles Hammonds, Nathaniel Thompson, Connie Canery, Vickie McKoy and Angelon Thompson; and her friends, Lois, Linda, Judy and Ronnie Williams. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins.
