He is survived by: his son Gregory Mitchell (Betty) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Sarah Mitchell (Justin) of Fairmont, Destiny Mitchell of Fairmont and Samuel Mitchell of Fairmont; his brother David Mitchell (Donna) of Rowland; and his siblings-in-law, Myrtle Lewis of Rowland, Phyllis Oxendine (Vernell) of Rowland, Betsy Jones (Joseph) of Rowland, Mary Mitchell of Rowland, John Locklear (Lola) of Greenville, NC, Joseph Locklear (Debbie) of Copperas Cove, TX. and Sylvester "Buddy" Hunt of Rowland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
