She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Johnson Pope and Althea Fields Pope; and her husband John Calvin Britt, Jr.. She is survived by: her godchildren, Kimberly Britt Waggoner (Jerry) of Fairmont and Charles Scott Wester (Denna) of Fairmont; her sister-in-law Janice Britt (Elton) of Fairmont; and her brother Henry Maurice "Buddy" Pope of Lumberton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
