It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Oxendine of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford Hunt and Nancy Lee Hunt; her husband Hal Oxendine; her son-in-law Jerry Jacobs; and her sisters, Mary Bell Bartley, Hattie Jane Hunt, Betty Karl Oxendine, Doris Hunt, Laura Lee Ivey and Clara Mae Cummings.

She is survived by : her daughter Nancy Carol Jacobs (Bobby Gene Locklear); her sisters, Joanna Locklear (Willie Carson) and Martha Rae Hardin of Fairmont, NC; her granddaughter Stephanie Locklear; her great grandchildren, R. J. (Courtney) and Jacob (Taylor); and her great great grandchildren, Addie, Little Roy and Harper.
