She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Edwards and Rebecca Mincey Edwards; her husband James Franklin Miller; her son Ricky Miller; and her siblings, Ben Edwards and Betty Jo McLaughin.

She is survived by: her children, Freddie Miller (Connie) of Fairmont, NC and Gale Hudson (Timothy) of Lake City, SC; her sisters, Barbara Lashley (Eddie) of Raeford, NC and Linda Tharp (Harry) of Chocowinity, NC; her grandchildren, Jamie, Kasey, Ashley, Becky, Melissa and Matt; her sister-in-law Lois Jean Miller; and her pet Cricket. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Home of Freddie and Connie Miller.
