He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Britt and Frances Britt; and his siblings, James Britt, Robert Britt, Ruth Carter McGaugh, Cora Lee Price, Douglas Britt Sr., Annie Neal Britt, Curtis Britt, William Jake Britt and Sadie Rae Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Britt; his daughters, Genia Tatum, Tonya Head (Frankie), Tara Britt and Bliss Britt; his grandchildren, Coty A. Tatum, Haley Thomas Ivey (Zachary Cox), Harley R. Britt (Dakota Goins) and Kelsea L. Bridgeman; his great grandchildren, Lizzie K. Sealy, Emery O. Williamson, Raegan O. Williamson, Kayson P. Gaddy, Ashton W. Tatum and Kane Thomas Goins; and his sisters, Christine Priest and Louise Richardson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Floyd Memorial Chapel (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Faith Cemetery (5190 Fayetteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
