She is survived by : her siblings, Roy Mitchell and Aline Mitchell; her nephews, Larry Taylor Jr. and Quintin Mitchell; her children, Dominique Brown Whitted (James), Monique Brown Wilson (Ronald), Jameel Terrelle Brown (Distani) and Tyronius McArthur; her siblings, Larry Taylor, Troy Mitchell, Alan Mitchell (Jackie), Alfonso Mitchell (Ann), Bobby Mitchell, Patricia Jemison, Sally Mitchell, Carol Mitchell and Tammy Mitchell; her grandchildren, Iyanna Whitted, Mahogany Wison, Zyasia Whitted, Tukum McAuthur, Jamesa Whitted, Ja'Mes Whitted, Khairi Whitted, Masiah Williams and Jasiah Brown; and her close friend Venetta Hauser Gilmore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.
