He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Andrew Campbell and Flossie Mae Campbell; his son Barry Campbell; his siblings, Gloria Govan and Lester Campbell; his goddaughter Pamela Campbell; and his grandchildren, Tatyana Campbell and Maurice Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Nealy; his children, William Campbell, Jr., Andren Jones, Glenn Campbell (Virginia), Sheila Shuler (Tyrone), George "Butch" Thompson, Tyrone Campbell (Susan) and Aneisa Graham; his siblings' children, Shanell and Jamell Govan; his goddaughter Helen Taylor; his siblings, Peggy Leonard, Joan Ellis, Ruth, Thompson, Debbie Lewis, Ernest Burnette, Kenneth Burnette, James Burnette and Beverly Campbell; and also, Modestine Fulmore and William. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
