It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobbie Putnam Wright of Fairview, North Carolina, born in Caroleen, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband William Albert Wright; her siblings, Patsy Ruth Putnam and Boyd Terry Putnam; and her parents, Charles A. Putnam and Ethel Lowery Putnam.

She is survived by : her sister Velma Compton (Harrell Compton) of Huntington Beach, CA; and her children, Patsy Cornelison (Frank Cornelison) of Charlotte, NC, Sharon Dameron (Mike Dameron) of Greensboro, NC and Curtis Wright of Fairview, NC. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren.

In addition to flowers, donations can be made to Oakley United Methodist Church or the ABCCM.

Danny Lowery wrote a sympathy message

“Bobbie Wright was a special cousin. She was a very special lady to so many people. She helped more people than anyone can imagine. She was a devoted Church Member and a pillar of her Community. My prayers are with her children Patsy, Sharon and Curtis. I loved Bobbie dearly and will miss her so much. We had nice phone conversations and great visits when we could get together. Rest in peace my Dear Cousin.”
