She was predeceased by : her grandmother Margaret Elizabeth Snelson; her aunt Elfreda Langford; her uncle Robert Carl Langford; and her cousin Robert Eli Taylor. She is survived by : her mother Frances Langford McAbee of Fairview, NC.; her sister Sheri R. Stafford of Kaneohe, HI; her aunts, Geri Taylor, Kathy Willis and Sandra Meyers; and her cousin Denise Taylor Westmoreland.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Penland Family Funeral Home (125 South Ave, Swannanoa, NC 28778).
