He was predeceased by : his parents, George Ross Merrill and Bessie Pauline Garren Merrill; and his wife Janice Ruth Dockery Merrill. He is survived by : his children, Angela Marie Rice (William), Julie Miranda Rogers (Dustin), George Jeffrey Merrill and Kenneth Evan Merrill; his grandchildren, Kenneth Merrill, Kendall Merrill, Reilly Rogers, Kaylin Rogers, Kaylee Rogers, Billy Rice (Tamara), Seth Rice (Rachel) and Carissa Russell (Robby); his great grandchildren, Lorelei Rice and Renn Russell; and his brother Gene Merrill (Pat).
