It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Lunsford Lanning of Fairview, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William H. Lunsford and Hilda Blackwell Lunsford; her husband Donald Lee Lanning; and her siblings, Helen L. Roberts, Betty L. Bagwell, Bill Lunsford and Charles Lunsford.

She is survived by : her daughter Judy L. Bowman; her granddaughter Sarah Bowman Austin (Christopher); and her great grandchild Emily Elizabeth Austin.
