She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerry Reid and Lena Bradshaw Reid of Davidson County; her husband Joseph Lee Holmes; and her siblings, Venetta and Robert.
She is survived by : her children, Bryce Holmes (Priscilla), Melaine Reeves, JoAnn Holmes and Anthony Holmes (Debra); and her sister Rosetta Hudson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
