She was predeceased by : her parents, Theron Love and Ora Love; and her brothers, Thermon, Horace and Dorton Love.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Lowery; her children, Jeffrey Lowery (Karen) and Kimberly Lowery Kiker (Tony); and her siblings, Betty Caudle, Brenda Huntley, Wilbert Love and Wallace Love. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
