He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Arthur and Victoria Lee Moore; and his foster sister Elizabeth Fite. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ester Lytle Moore; his daughter Debbie Anderson (Rick); his grandchildren, Kyle Anderson (Lauren) and Vanessa Hester (Dean); and his great grandchildren, Andy Hester, Anagail Hester and Will Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Biltmore Church of God (1390 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Nesbitt's Chapel Church Cemetery (12 Nesbitt Chapel Rd, Fairview, NC 28730).
