He is survived by: his mother Alice Oates; his brother Eric Oates; and his daughter Paige Oates. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church (163 Poplar Grove Church Ln, Faison, NC 28341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
