She is survived by : her mother Ruth Best Darden of Faison, NC; her children, Tiffany Darden-Williams of Mt. Olive, NC and Montrice Darden of Goldsboro, NC; and her siblings, Shelby Jean Herpin of Augusta, GA, Sharon Hinton of Goldsboro, NC, Doris Darden of Faison, NC, David Earl Darden of Lumberton, NC, Charles Taylor of Parkton, NC, Ricky Darden of Goldsboro, NC, O'Neil Darden of Goldsboro, NC and Travis Darden of Jessup, GA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hills Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (472 SW Center St, Faison, NC 28341).
