We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 70, Huron L. Grimes Jr. (Faison, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Katherine Troutman Grimes and Huron Lamont Grimes; and his brother-in-law James Owen "Jimmy" Barefoot. He is survived by : his daughter Katherine Grimes Bradshaw; his son-in-law Dallas Bradshaw of Faison; his sisters, Loretta Barefoot of Faison and Beatsy (Charles Stevens); and his nephews, Jay Barefoot (Rita) of Apex and Blake Barefoot (Deborah) of Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faison Methodist Church, PO Box 417, Faison, NC 28341.
