We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 74, Lynn Porter King of Faison, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Barfield Haywood and Ruth Raynor Porter of Newton Grove, NC.; her father-in-law Joseph (Betty King); and her brother-in-law Laurie Jackson. She is survived by : her husband Steven King; her siblings, Janet Bryan (John) of Wilmington, David Porter (Phyllis) of Raleigh, Carol Jackson of Pink Hill and Debbie Thornton (Glenn) of Newton Grove; and her siblings-in-law, Stanley King (Tina) of Faison and Donna Threet (John) of Lehigh, Florida. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West & Dunn Funeral Home Chapel (503 Raleigh St, Newton Grove, NC 28366). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
