She is survived by: her children, Shelby Herpin of Cary, NC, Sharon Hinton of Goldsboro, NC, Doris Darden of Faison, NC, David Earl Darden of Lumberton, NC, Charles Taylor of Parkton, NC, Ricky Darden of Howton, TX, O'Neil Darden of Goldsboro, NC and Travis Darden of Lexington, KY; and her sister Brenda Kelly of Faison, NC. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Worley Funeral Home, Inc. (639 Lisbon St, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hills Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (472 SW Center St, Faison, NC 28341). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at 24 NC-50 Warsaw, North Carolina 28398.
