He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Locklear and Sarah Magalene Cummings Locklear; his siblings, Dale Cummings, Don Cummings and Peggy Chavis; and his daughter Cynthia Ann Cummings.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marlene Locklear, Tammy Lowery, Eva Locklear, Cora Lee Hammonds, Phyllis Hammonds, Bonita Lowry and Janice Hunt. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
