She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cornwell and Geraldine Lail Cornwell; and her brother David Cornwell. She is survived by: her husband Richard Eugene Russ; her son Todd Royster (Tammy) of Fallston; her grandchildren, Taylor Royster and Tori Younce (Ethan); her great grandchildren, Karson and Kaisley Younce; her nephews, Matt Cornwell (Tammy) and Chad Cornwell; her mother-in-law Opal T. Russ of Kings Mountain; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Brooks (Jim) of Shelby and Pat Humphries of Shelby.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the education fund for Karson and Kaisley Younce, 126 Runnin R Trail, Shelby, NC 28150.
