She was predeceased by: her husband James Earl Lovitt; her parents, George Washington Moore Sr. and Mary Mozingo Moore; her siblings, Roy, Gene, George Jr., Mary Braxton and Christine Wells; and her son-in-law Mark LaGant.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Louise Lovitt of Farmville, Donald Ray Lovitt (Pearl) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Ronald Earl Lovitt (Libby) of Wilson, Judy L Moore (Gentry) of Farmville and Debra L. LaGant (Dana) of Garner; her grandchildren, Chris Lovitt (Danielle) of Garner, Keri Lovitt of Charleston, SC, Cecil Moore of Farmville and Cameron Lovitt of Clayton; her children, Lara Millard (Andrew) of Charleston, SC and Christopher LaGant (Carrie) of Wendell; her great grandchildren, Grayson Lovitt of Garner, Cameron Rose Lovitt of Garner, Luke LaGant of Wendell, Ben LaGant of Wendell and Max Millard of Charleston, SC; her brother David Moore (Paulette) of Farmville; and her sisters-in-law, Hilda Nichols of Farmville and Judy Faye Moore of Farmville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Farmville Funeral Home (4226 E Church St, Farmville, NC 27828). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
