She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Hardee and Ethel Hardee; and her husband William Carson Meeks. She is survived by: her sons, David Meeks (Beth) of Farmville and William Howard Meeks (Bonnie) of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandsons, Daniel Meeks, Matthew Meeks and Joshua Meeks (Emily).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens (4965 US-258, Farmville, NC 27828).
