It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lee Pippin of Farmville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lady Ruth and Richard Pippin; and his siblings, Virginia Pippin Wooten, Bryan Pippin and Joe Pippin.
He is survived by: his wife Mittie Baker Rouse Pippin; his children, Dr. Lee Pippin, Dianne Pippin Hauser, Becky Pippin Peyton and Herman Pippin; and his grandchildren, Walter Peyton, Matthew Peyton (Tori), Sterling Pippin (Cami), Tori Pippin Rouse (Chris) and Richard Pippin (Christina Bledsoe).
