She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mcleod and Maggie Mae Mcleod. She is survived by: her husband David E. Cox; her children, David L. Cox, Terrence Cox and Rahmeka Cox Fort; her granddaughter Nyla Fort; her siblings, David Mcleod, Jerry Mcleod, Maggie Billingsley, Tonida Cradle, Pearl Purdie, Cloy Grant, Bessie Taylor and Dr. Frances Harrington; and her godson Isiah Downing. She is also survived by eight nieces and four nephews.
