He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Avrette and Grace Avrette; and his wife Nancy Avrette. He is survived by: his children, Kristie Meadows (Brandon) of Lumberton, NC and Brian Avrette of Aurora, CO; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Kynadie, Jaxon Meadows, Ryan, Christopher and Emberly Avrette; his siblings, Diane Claypool and David Avrette (Cindy); Big O. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arran Lake Baptist Church (1130 Bingham Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens (4905 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304).
