She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Cain and Nellie Ambrose; her husband Jimmy Ratley; her daughter Suzanne Jackson; her grandsons, Christopher Jackson and Noie Corney; and her siblings, Patricia Lowry (Sissy), Richard Ambrose and Julian Ambrose.
She is survived by: her children, Haywood Tew (Kay), Lorraine Hadley, Billie Jackson Wood and Daniel Wade Ratley (Tammie); her siblings, Billy Ambrose, Rebecca Marshall and Deborah Kanode; and her pets, Lilly and Carly. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
