It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Carthon of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Carthon; her children, Shontail Herron (Dannie), Anthony Carthon (Jessica), Stacy Carthon, Yvonnie Archer (Terrence) and Sir Francis Carthon; and her siblings, Mary Ross, James Lewis (Gertie), Nancy Lewis, Michael Lewis (Patricia) and Brenda Moore (Gregory). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
