With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jeanne Higginbotham of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her children, Ray S. Higginbotham (Angelica), Dr. Gwendolyn M. Stritter (Carl) and Larell Mattie Higginbotham-Riopel (Peter); and her siblings, Maurice Morgan, Elizabeth Ann Clarke and Doris Morgan. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
