With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Blaise Cornell-Dechert (Fayetteville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2024 at the age of 88. As Blaise departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Blaise. Though Blaise may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Barba Cornell; and his children, Anne Renee Heinrich of Indiana, Blaise Cornell (Dechert Jr.), Catherine Cornell (Dechert) and Pamela Cornell (Dechert). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
