It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Chavis of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Etoy Mitchell and Della Ruby Eskew; and her brother Frank Gaston. She is survived by: her son Huderia Vidal Cosby; her brothers, Billy Mitchell and George Gaston (Gloria) of Georgia; and her godson Wilton A Simons III. She is also survived by her coworkers that she loved dearly and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
