Lopes of Fayetteville, North Carolina, born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Bernice Lopes and Conrad Charles Lopes; his stepfather Alex Eskel Edge; and his father-in-law James Franklin Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Karen Burnette Lopes; his daughter Sylvia Lopes Thornton (Adam) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Aiden Thornton, Aubrey Thornton and Isla Thornton; his sisters, Deborah Lopes, Vivian Ivers (Jim), Marla Hester (Jim) and Beverly Gail Vigna (Alfred); his mother-in-law Gail Burnette; and his siblings-in-law, James Burnette, Scott Burnette, Sandra Burnette and Julian Burnette (Tammi).
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in Conrad's name to the Karen Chandler Trust, Inc., 2921 Damascus Rd Fayetteville, NC 28303.
