He is survived by: his children, Barbara Collier (Christopher), Steven L. McDaniel, Demond M. Williams (Shaniece) and Curtis Jr.; his siblings, Paul Carter (Angela), Lois Joseph (Solomon), Joyce Beard, Oscar Carter (Vivian) and Tammy McNeill (Charles); and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Carter and Lillie Carter. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
