Daniel Odell Baldwin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Odell Baldwin of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his caregiver Lester LeGrant, III; and his children, Kendrick Baldwin and Crystal Nicole Gillis (Pierre). He is also survived by three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Herring Funeral Care & Cremations (2720 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Hebrew AME Zion Church (6845 Old Plank Rd, Parkton, NC 28371).
