She is survived by: her father Andrew Ellis Jacobs; her son James Jacobs (April); her grandchildren, AJ and Karina; her siblings, Anglish Jacobs (Katrinia), Audrey Joy Jacobs Locklear (Gary), Cathy Ann Scott Wilson (Billy), Savannah Young, Loretta Hammonds Caudle (John) and Betty Hammonds; her aunts, Betty Scott Hammonds, Berlether Locklear and Sherry Harris; her sister-in-law Jeanette Scott; her niece Deborah Jane Locklear; and her close friends, Jimmy Jones and Dennis Williams. She is also survived by cousin "Laura Scott"; seven nephews, fifteen nieces, and host of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the World Faith Clinic Church (2250 Chicken Foot Rd, Hope Mills, NC 28348).
