He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albra Faircloth and Nellie Catherine Sessoms Faircloth; and his siblings, Lottie Faircloth Pope, Mary Faircloth Stevens, Herman Richard Faircloth and James Faircloth.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Felton Faircloth; his children, Dora Lynn Caldwell (Mike), Lora Rae Faircloth and James Harold Faircloth (Billie); his sister Elma Faircloth Rockwell; and his granddaughter Calliope Jane Faircloth.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Cedar Falls Baptist Church (6181 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28311). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lafayette Memorial Park.
