He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Franklin McDuffie and Nettie Gordon McDuffie; his son Neill Franks; and his siblings, Charles McDuffie, Dorothy Coates, Leonard McDuffie, Sarah Couliette and Katie Ruth Cowart Altman.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Bill McDuffie; and his siblings, Mary Dixon, Edna Matterson (Mark), Auley McDuffie (Carol), Mike McDuffie (Darlene) and Larry McDuffie (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FAPS, 3927 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville, N.C. 28303 or to the charity of one's choice in memory of Don.
